Debbie, your home was wonderful!
This home is exactly what one needs to “get away from it all”. It was so nice being able to cook food by the pool we love cooking and going to the local grocery store was easy.
The beaches nearby are very quiet and personally I think better than the northern commercial part of the island.
Debbie’s home offers everything you need. We also loved hearing the neighbours exotic birds, it’s adds to the experience!
We loved it and are definitely returning to Aruba in 6 months.
Thank you so much for opening your home to us.

The villa was absolute bliss! Total relaxation! Just a 10-12 minute drive from the airport we were greeted with our own private pool, all lit up. We stayed for 14 nights and wished we could have stayed for 14 nights more! We hired a car and It was the perfect place to stay to explore the island (when we could tear ourselves away from relaxing around the pool!) The flying fishbone restaurant and zeerovers is just across the road, less than a few minutes walk and we often watched the sunset here whilst sipping cocktails and cold beer. The villa itself is beautiful. The inside is tastefully decorated in bright Aruba colours. We had plenty of room inside the villa. We made use of the beach equipment and cool boxes ect that is at the villa. The highlight for me was the outside space, somewhere to sunbathe and cool off in the pool or sit in the shade or even at your very own bar! The whole space is lit up at night including the bar the pool and the seating area which is just amazing! We occasionally drove up to Oranjestad and the high rise areas to have evening meals and visit the touristy markets. There are also lots of options of restaurants and fast food outlets within a couple of minutes drive of the villa and there are also lots of mini supermarkets to get daily items. A short drive south you will find Baby beach which is stunning. If you are trying to find a villa; Get a taste of the real Aruba and stay here. You won’t regret it. I can’t wait to go back!

We simply loved our stay at Debbie s place. The outdooring at the Villa is wonderful, and we spent a great amount of time hanging out there. It s easy to find on the Island, and not too far from the ocean. The property manager is also an awesome person, who helped us a lot during our stay. We highly recommend staying at her place if you are in Aruba, and want to be out of the craziness of downtown and live a more local experience.

Perfect off the beaten path location

This location isn’t for everyone, but it was the perfect fit for our family of grandparents, parents and kids! The house is about 15 minutes south of the airport and easy to get to. Debbie (owner) answered all our questions in a timely manner and was great to work with before our trip. We met Edwin (the manager) and he handed over keys and he was very helpful.

The house was as described, clean, stocked with beach supplies and towels, lots of extra sheets and everything for cooking.

The kitchen is stocked with all you need to cook, just hit the grocery and save some money making breakfast and lunch at home. The local grocery stores are quite pricey, so make sure you have time to hit up the Super Foods in the city where prices are more reasonable.

Because you’re not in the thick of the tourist area, you do have to drive to the beaches. Traffic going north to the hotels is heavy, it took about 30-40 min to get to Eagle Beach area. We didn’t enjoy those beaches with our little ones thought, so we opted for Rogers and Baby Beach with just a 10 min drive south.

There are some really great places to eat within walking distance, which is a BIG selling point to us because we love food. The bakery down the road from the house is a must hit spot! They open at 4 PM and the donuts and cinnamon rolls were amazing! ZeeRover’s has FRESH fish, but be prepared, it will come cooked and looking at you! The Flying Fishbone was awesome!! We ate too much the day of our dinner reservation so we even went back later to get just dessert. YUM! But make reservations or be prepared to wait.

We would recommend this great house to anyone visiting that doesn’t want to be in the hotel mess up north. We would for sure stay again!

We loved our stay in this beautiful villa!! The best part of this house is the outdoor space. There’s an awesome Tiki bar with a grill where we cooked all our meals and a great table outside too where we ate each night. We basically we’re always outside when we were at the house – and loved it! The inside of the house is nice and we loved having air conditioning. The location of the house was also great. It’s located just 15-20 minutes from the main hotel area and we could get to great beaches easily too. The closet beach to the house is small with a little dock you could jump off of. We preferred to drive to baby beach and other beaches that where close by. A rental car is definitely a must with this house, but with the location, you can easily travel anywhere! Overall, the value of this house is awesome! I much preferred staying in this beautiful house than being in a small hotel room all week. If you’re looking to relax by your own pool, have plenty of space, and be in a nice location, definitely stay here!

We (6) had a beautiful week at Debbie’s and Patrick house in Savaneta, especially the pool (with outside shower) was amazing. We did use the BBQ and tiki bar as well. The house was comfortable but we spend most of our time there outside, in one of the relax areas. A rental car is a must. The sea in front of the house was not really reachable. We preferred “Baby Beach” a lot. We can recommend this house.

Debbie was very welcoming and made herself available even though she was not in the area. Any problems were promptly resolved.

The house is as advertised, the photos are spot on and you get what you see. Everything was great. The pool was welcoming and the kids loved it. The house was very clean and the property manager met us immediately upon arrival. The neighborhood was quaint and peaceful. Everyone we ran into was very friendly and helpful.

The stores around the area are great and restaurants are good too. The bakery nearby made unbelievable treats and we were happy to find it! Snorkel and beach gear was extremely helpful to have accessible. We loved the location. It was convenient to get anywhere around the island and very close to baby beach and Arikok National Park. You definitely need a rental car though.

The beach near the property is small but quiet and the snorkeling in that spot is as good as almost anywhere else on the island. We walked to the beach numerous times. The house is set up with almost everything you might need for your stay.

We were there for 8 days and just needed the grocery store. We felt very safe the entire stay and the neighborhood was very quaint. Unique historical area on a beautiful island. We already want to go back!! Thanks Debbie!!

From the onset, we felt extremely welcomed. Vianca is the property manager that lives next door. She was fantastic and made our stay even that much more memorable…we love Vianca and she is so helpful/friendly! The home was as advertised and the backyard pool/entertaining area was amazing! The pictures of the pool area do not do it justice! We would return to this home anytime and will look for this property for future needs. The only thing I would do differently next time is rent a car.

We are a family of 4. This was our first trip to Aruba and our first experience with airbnb. I am glad we took this route instead of a more traditional all inclusive resort. The home is just like what we saw in the pictures. It is a well maintained property. The best feature is the pool. Our kids (9 yr old and 7 yr old) had a lot fun in the pool. The house also has snorkeling, beach chairs, coolers that were very handy during the visits to the beach. It is away from the tourist area where all the hotels are, but this gives you a chance to experience locals. It is in a quiet and safe neighbourhood. There are couple of grocery stores nearby too. Two of the best restaurants of Aruba are within walking distance. The property manager lives next door She is warm and welcoming. I highly recommend this villa if you plan to go to Aruba. I would definitely go back here again.

What a nice and peaceful location to explore Aruba. The manager Vianca was at the house when we arrived. A warm welcome! The villa complies fully with the picture painted. An excellent interior space and around the pool there are plenty of seating areas to relax and enjoy al fresco dining Vianca invited us to experience with friends of hers, the carnival. A VIP resort along the way….what a feast! Overall, highly recommended and we will definitely come back.

Holland – January 2016

We spend a delicious 6 days in Savaneta. Debbie’s house is a joy. As outdoor people the seating area outside is perfect. We savoured every minute. The BBQ is a must use when in the house. Should you not feel like cooking the Flying Fishbone or the Zeerover are minutes away (walking that is).

Soon to be the perfect place to vacation on Aruba. Quiet location, with what probably is the best pool in town.
